Small group offerings

We have a number of ways to meet and grow together as part of our Deer Lake community!

Look below to discover the variety of "ages and stages" groups we offer to find the small group that is just right for you!  Our Community Support Groups have more information and registration on an external website that can be found by following the link.  Our internal Small Groups have a single registration form that allows you to register with our internal leaders.  If you need assistance or more information, please contact the church office.

    • Believers Together - Sundays 11am - "Abraham" - While heralded as a patriarch of faith, Abraham's journey was filled with the messiness of life.  Yet he chose to trust in the promises that God had presented before him, regardless of how distant and impossible they seemed.  For us, Abraham is an example of faith and a reminder of what it looks like to trust God with the most important things in our lives.
    • IGNITE - Wednesdays 7pm - "Talking Points: The Perfect Blend of Politics and Religion" with Andy Stanley -  In this 3 week study, we will address the following issues: "What Is Jesus' Take on Politics?";  "How Christians Should Approach Politics"; and "What Is The Role of the Church in Politics?"  Join us in this timely study!

    • MOM's - Tuesdays (time to be determined by group) begins August 25th - "Risen Motherhood"  - Motherhood is hard.  One second, we think we're doing a good enough job, the next we're the worst mom on the planet.  Which is why we need the refreshing truth of the gospel repeated over and over - giving us hope in the everyday moments.
    • Wednesday Evening Bible Study - Wednesdays 7pm begins August 26th (meets outside at the Nursery Patio) - "The Gospel of Mark" with Francis Chan - In this 11-part series on the Gospel of Mark, author and speaker Francis Chan invites us to walk with him along the ancient ways of the Master.  Tracing the steps of Jesus and the Twelve through Israel, Francis explores the major themes of the Gospel of Mark, and asks: Are we willing to take this journey to embrace discipleship?
