Core Values

Core Values:

This is not about us.

We believe that when we become disciples or followers of Jesus by grace through faith in him, our lives are no longer our own. We take up the cross of Jesus’ sacrificial love and give of ourselves to serve one another, our community and the world.

The love of Christ compels us.

We love God and others because Christ first loved us. We delight in Christ as we worship him together in his presence, as we meet him on the pages of Scripture, as we experience his love through one another in authentic community, and as we minister to him in serving the lost, the least & the last.

We join God.

God is already at work in our world, bringing the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven to earth and changing people’s lives. We don’t labor in ministry on our own, but seek to move with God and by God’s power. Christ is our Head, our Strength and our Confidence.

We are about drawing people to God.

Since God has committed His message of reconciliation to us, all that we do is meant to draw people to Jesus. In doing so, we help them to enter into a relationship with God, which will continue to grow as we live out the truth of the Scriptures.
